Plainn
Written and recorded in solitude, Plainn’s first, self-titled record is a new starting point for Paolo Brusò (Margareth, Focus on the Breath), who here seems to rediscover the pleasure of simplicity in making songs.
Nine beautiful ballads above genres: a breath of fresh air, a sense of freedom. This record is a gift to anyone who believes in inspired, born-free music, created by instinct, colored by passion, destroyer of all entertaining stereotypes. Deep and evocative, Plainn’s songwriting is about simple things, and only through simplicity we can rediscover that vital strength, that energy we think was lost but has been in us the entire time.
Paolo Brusò has started and contributed to many different music projects – from rock and electronic music, to readings and free improvisation – releasing records for indie labels based in Italy, Germany and Lithuania. He shared the stage with St. Vincent, Glasvegas, Calibro 35, Marta sui Tubi, and worked with Giovanni Ferrario (producer and musician for PJ Harvey and John Parish).
