Pipapop is an independent record label created in Venice in 2016 by artists and musicians of the underground scene.
Founding members move between Venice, Pordenone, Assisi countryside and Paris.

The name of the label comes from the Pi-Pa Pop posters,
Lithographic prints created by Lothar- Günther Buchheim in 1968.

Pipapop sees music like a true work of art and not a commercial product.
The creation of this label is an artistic fellowship that researches experience and new energies, avoiding as much as possibile the marketing and all the modern standards.

Pipapop è un’etichetta discografica indipendente fondata nel 2016 a Venezia, in seguito alll’incontro sinergico tra artisti e musicisti provenienti dalla scena underground. I membri fondatori si muovono tra Venezia, Pordenone, la campagna di Assisi e Parigi.

Pipapop prende il nome dalla serie di poster Pi-Pa Pop, litografie create dall’artista Lothar-Günther Buchheim nel 1968.

Pipapop vede la musica come vera e propria opera d’arte, non come prodotto commerciale. La nascita dell’etichetta è un sodalizio artistico che mira alla ricerca e alla sperimentazione, baipassando gli standard contemporanei del mercato discografico.
